Urban Creation, a Bristol- based property developer, has been shortlisted in in this year’s Bristol Life Awards.

Hosted on the 23rd April at Lloyds Amphitheatre in Bristol, over 600 people will gather to celebrate a wide range of local businesses. With over 20 categories, the awards are designed to celebrate success on a local level.

This shortlisting comes after a very successful year for the company in 2019 with its trailblazing project of 50 Park Street, which saw pre-made apartments craned into the roof of a 1950s building. This type of modular construction, believed to be the first in the UK, has the potential to revolutionise the future of housing.

For over 15 years, Urban Creation has been transforming unusual, often neglected properties into stand-out places for people to live and stay in.

With over 26 projects to date, Urban Creation is behind the creation of over 1,200 apartments and 64,000 sq ft of commercial and residential space largely in Bristol. The total gross development value (GDV) of these projects is over £110 million. On average, over the last five years, Urban Creation has spent £5 million per year on construction projects in Bristol.
