What Is A Serviced Apartment?

The term ‘serviced apartment’ is regularly thrown around, yet many people are left wondering what a serviced apartment actually is and how do they differ from other types of accommodation? 

Serviced apartments are fully furnished housing/ accommodation that is available for both short stays and long term lets. They provide guests with a range of home comforts, such as sofas and TVs and also provide hotel-like services, such as housekeeping, all provided within the overall rent price. They can be booked on a night-by-night basis, or if you require something longer, you can book out longer periods of time. 

Serviced apartments are popular within the corporate arena, with many companies hosting their workers in serviced apartments when travelling for work. They are also perfect for leisure stays as they provide much more space, privacy and freedom than any hotel room as you are given a designated apartment all to yourself. 

There are many types of serviced apartment accommodation ranging from studio apartments to large multi-bedroom houses. 

What is included within a serviced apartment?

As mentioned, serviced accommodation are fully furnished enabling guests to use them as you would if you were at home. Although features included will vary between accommodation providers, generally speaking the accommodation will include:

Check In / Check Out

Just like hotels, serviced apartments have check in and check out times. With no reception areas at our properties, we have contactless check in procedures for ease of access for guests. 

Check in is 4pm and check out 11am; however, if you require alternative options speak to us to see how we can accommodate. 

Housekeeping 

Our housekeeping service is offered on a weekly basis. We can work around our guests so that you can continue with your stay without feeling restricted.

Parking 

Depending on what property you stay at, parking is available either on site, or at one of our designated parking areas which are a short walk from the properties.
